Going to Germany?
Passport holders of Tanzania do require a visa to enter Germany.
Depending on the purpose and duration of your stay in Germany you can either apply for a Schengen visa for short term stays or a National visa for long term stays (> 90 days). Please note: the German Embassy is currently responsible for the processing of national visa for nationals residing in Tanzania and Comores.
The German Embassy Dar Es salaam have outsourced the application process for Schengen visas to the external service Provider TLScontact.
In principle, all applications for Schengen visas must be handed in at one of the Visa Application Centres of TLScontact who will guide you through the application process.
