Please understand that questions asked via telephone in legal and consular matters (visa, passort etc.) cannot and will not be answered.

Please book your appointment or upload your national visa application as follows:

• Appointment booking for a Schengen Visa
  Do you need an appointment to apply for a Schengen visa (stay within 180 days does not exceed 90 days)? Please book this appointment with our external service provider TLScontact here.

• Applying digitally through the Consular Services Portal

  for your National Visa for the following visa categories: Family Reunion including marriage with subsequent stay in Germany, Study visa, Visa for vocational training, Opportunity Card, Language Courses followed by studies/vocational training, EU-Blue card, Skilled and professional workers

  Please proceed to apply digitally by uploading the application to the Consular Services Portal

  Please note: Applications in the above-mentioned categories can now only be submitted digitally via the Consular Services Portal.
  Once the preliminary review of your application has been completed, you will receive a personal appointment to submit your biometric data. Please ensure that you upload complete and correct documents.

  Attention: At present, applications for family reunification for several persons (e.g. mother with her child) CANNOT be applied for or uploaded together in one account. Please note that until further notice, all persons must create separate user accounts.

• Appointment booking for a national visa (permanent stay in Germany - only for the following categories: Research, Intensive language course (NOT followed by studies/vocational training!), Re-Entry, Internship, Recognition of foreign qualification, Au-Pair, Volunteers and Family reunion to beneficiaries of subsidiary protection

  Please book your appointment here

  Please note: Appointments can only be offered for a 10-week period in advance. If all available slots are already fully booked, please try to book again in the next few days. We ask for your understanding: Special appointments will not be allocated.

  One appointment must be booked per person.

  We would like to point out that the demand for appointments for a BfD/Au-Pair stay far exceeds the supply of appointments. Therefore, a waiting list has been created. You have to expect a waiting time of about six months before receiving a scheduled appointment.

  In order to ensure effective customer service, we ask you to arrive on time for your appointment - please understand that otherwise your appointment will be forfeited.

  Please cancel any appointments that you are unable to keep in good time.

• Appointment booking for all other CONSULAR categories (certifications, applying for a German passport, legalization)

  Once you have compiled all the necessary documents and records) then contact us via the contact form regarding your request.

Collection Time:
Collection time is Tuesday and Friday at 11:30 (except for national holidays as displayed).
