Recognition of qualifications obtained in Tanzania

Information on whether your professional, academic or school qualifications are recognised in Germany can be found on the ‚Recognition in Germany‘ website.

Additionally, please note that a Service Center for Professional Recognition has been established.

To qualify as a skilled worker it is essential that your qualification is recognized in or comparable with the German qualification. Proof needs to be provided during the process.

We recommend that you have your Tanzanian documents translated and affixed with a legalisation (should the document have been issued by a state institution) before travelling from Tanzania.
